CONVERSION OF THE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INTO FIVE REGIONAL CENTRES FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT
Further to the continuation of project activities on the implementation of the Contract „SETTING UP OF THE MAIN CENTRE FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT ON THE NATIONAL MOTORWAY NETWORK AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ITS DIRECTIVE AND DATEX II STANDARD IN FACILITIES FOR REPORTING, MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT OF TRAFFIC ON NATIONAL MOTORWAYS, Employer HAC d.o.o. performed the conversion to the new integrated traffic information system in two iterations through trial work in the regional centres for traffic control and management RCTCM_M Đakovo, RCTCM_M Ivanja Reka, RCTCM_M Maslenica, RCTCM_M Dugopolje and RCTCM_T Zagvozd.
With these activities, the sections of motorways A3, A4, A5, A10, A11 and a part of A1 Motorway south of the Čelinka tunnel were placed under the traffic control and management of the new integrated traffic information system.

System integrator BS Telecom Solutions d.o.o. as a contractual partner in the implementation of the project, implemented the planned modules, and as a prerequisite for putting into operation the main centre for traffic control and management on motorways (MCTCM_M) in the full designed functionality.

In the coming period, the Employer HAC d.o.o. continues with the implementation of project activities for the remaining regional traffic control and management centres, thus remaining consistent in its decision that continuous investment in the modernization of safety systems on motorways has no alternative.
