Technical meeting on cross-border traffic data exchange realization in Ostrava

The CROCODILE 2 community had a prolific start into the year 2018 with a first technical meeting taking place in Ostrava (CZ) on 15 and 16 February. Under the thematic banner of cross-border data exchange, participants from seven Member States discussed the current status and further plans for working towards increased cross-border exchange of traffic data while ensuring compliance with the ITS Directive and its supplementing Delegated Regulations.

Obviously, the main focus was on planning real international exchange, mainly on matching real demand for different sorts of data with data really provided for given region. 

Member States have significantly increased their efforts for coordinated access to and exchange of traffic data across borders.
